Software:
Software is the
aggregate name for a collection of computer processes, documents, and programs
that perform particular functions on a computer system. Practical computer
systems classify software systems into three broad categories: system software,
programming software, and application software. Software is an organized set of
instructions for sequentially altering the state of computer hardware. Software
is frequently designed with a user-friendly interface to make it easier for
people to interact with computers. Examples of software include Excel, Windows,
Word processing programs, and Internet browsers.
Hardware:
Hardware is everything
that can be touched or is connected to the computer physically. Computer
systems classify hardware systems into four main categories that are input
devices, output devices, storage, and internal components. A computer wouldn't
work without any hardware, and software wouldn't have anything to operate on
either. Computer hardware includes a CD-ROM, computer display monitor, printer,
and video card. Hardware is not user-friendly.
